The objective of the ICCA Education Fund, previously known as Ernst Stock Fund is to create educational opportunities for Young Meetings Professionals, thereby helping to raise the professional standards in the international meetings industry.
The other aim of this Fund is to provide educational support for Young Meetings Professionals in whatever way possible, to regenerate the meetings industry for cities and regions that have experienced a crisis (for circumstances beyond their control, ie: war, economic crisis, environmental disaster) which has affected their meetings industry.
One of the educational opportunities is the Forum for Young Professionals. This is a meeting where enthusiastic young professionals with a full-time job in the events business are invited to join their peers from around the world and to help chart the future of the industry. Each year, Forums are being held at the tradeshows AIME (Australia) and EIBTM (Spain).
The ICCA Education Fund is build up through voluntary contributions and through the Silent Auction at the ICCA Congress & Exhibition. ICCA would like to thank all contributors!
