ICCA Silent Auction 2010
Help ICCA invest in education for the young meetings professional!
The annual ICCA Silent Auction will once again take place in 2010.
The auction contributes to the ICCA Education Fund which provides education opportunities for young meetings professionals and helps raise professional standards in the international meetings industry.
Wonderful prizes are donated from companies all over the world, and are shown on the Silent Auction website.
How does the auction work?
The ICCA Silent Auction process consists of two parts:
online and on-site. The Auction starts online. After the online deadline has passed, all donations and bids will be transferred to the Spotme device. In Hyderabad, India the Silent Auction will continue until the deadline.
Online bidding will be available until 11 October 2010 13:00 hours (Amsterdam, Netherlands time | UTC+2). After this time bids can only be placed at the ICCA Congress. Please note that if you are not able to attend the ICCA Congress you may still indicate a maximum bid amount you are willing to reach in order for your bid to continue during the period of the ICCA Congress.
Prizes donated will also be on display at the ICCA Silent Auction stand during the Congress.
Bids for each item are anonymous and the highest bid received by Tuesday 26 October 2010 at 16:15 local time (Hyderabad, India) will win the prize.
Are you interested in donating a prize?
To donate please sign into the Silent Auction Website with your username and password, and fill in your information and your prize details in the 'Donor Upload' section of the website. The deadline for donating a prize is 24 September 2010.
Donate a prize and benefit from the following:
- Your company name with link to your website will be acknowledged on the Silent Auction section of the 49th ICCA Congress website for one year.
- Your company name with link to your website will be acknowledged in Members Update one issue prior and one issue after the 49th ICCA Congress.
- Your company name, website address and logo will be displayed on the ICCA Silent Auction stand during the ICCA Congress, with exposure to all Congress delegates.
- Your company name, website address and logo will be included in the Silent Auction Prize Guide displayed on the Spotme device given to all ICCA Congress delegates.
Prizes can be big or small, packages or single prizes, leisure-related, meetings-related, objects, etc.. Multiple donations are also allowed. Follow this link to see what prizes were donated last year.
Where do the proceeds go?
The proceeds of the ICCA Silent Auction go to the ICCA Education Fund, investing in education for the young meetings professional. The Fund, among other things, financially supports the Forums for Young Professionals at EIBTM and AIME.
