Description: Different perspectives on the key issues in our industry with relationship to risk, safety, disaster management, and other related topics. The panel will consider issues such as how to reassure delegates, how to realistically estimate risk, how to communicate when disaster actually strikes. Our panel have personal experience of handling security for major intergovernmental events, relocating events in emergency situations, and dealing with the aftermath of natural disasters and terrorism. There will be a Discussion Forum later in the programme to help ICCA create a handbook for members on this subject.
