Sector Meetings

Delegates will first meet in their sectors (industry supplier segments) to discuss issues of relevance to their branch of the meetings industry, to debate the merits of policy changes and other proposals recommended by ICCA's Board of Directors, and to develop new ICCA projects and promotions. After discussing those important internal matters, different sector education sessions start and delegates can choose which sector education session they would like to join regardless to which sector they belong to.

Chapter Meetings

Chapter meetings are scheduled to enable delegates to discuss ICCA matters with colleagues from the same geographical region, and to hear about new developments and regional initiatives.

IMEX is the Worldwide Exhibition for Incentive Travel, Meetings and Events. It is unique in attracting both a major international gathering of Hosted Buyers (who travel and stay free as guests of the organisers) together with a large representation of decisions makers from the influential German market. IMEX attracts over 3,500 Hosted Buyers from 50 world markets plus more than 3,000 German buyers representing the 3rd largest outbound market for meetings and incentive travel.
Working in partnership with ICCA, the innovative Association Day and Evening – the day prior to IMEX – attracts 250 Association Buyers to a special programme of educational and networking sessions. All ICCA members exhibiting at IMEX are entitled to attend this function giving them one of the best opportunities in the year to meet association buyers face-to-face. ICCA also organises its mid-year sector and chapter meetings at IMEX, plus a host of seminars, workshops and receptions during the exhibition.

The Puerto Rico Convention Center Pedro Rosselló is the largest convention center in the Caribbean and the most-technologically-advanced in the Caribbean and Latin America.
