Application Process
To be eligible to apply for the FYP 2010, you must meet the following criteria:
- You must be 30 years of age or under, and reasonably fluent in English
- You must either work for an ICCA member or someone in your organisation must be registered to attend EIBTM as a Hosted Buyer (the aim is to have 50% ICCA members and 50% buyers)
- You must be available to attend the full event, which starts at approximately 15.30 on Saturday 27 November, and ends at approximately 15.00 on Tuesday 30 November (please ensure your manager is aware of this when applying)
In order to achieve cultural diversity and a mix of experience, selection is based on country of origin, current employment and an essay of between 400 and 500 words based on one of the following topics:
1. The greatest challenge facing the international meetings industry today is ..... (Please suggest solutions)
2. In what ways do you believe environmental and sustainability concepts should be employed in designing and organising meetings?
3. What significant changes do you see taking place in the meetings industry in the next 10 years?
4. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of using Social Networking tools and concepts in the meetings industry…

Cancellation Policy
If you are accepted on the Forum for Young Professionals, your flights and accommodation will be booked by EIBTM. Should you cancel your participation in the Forum for Young Professionals after Friday 29 October 2010 and have booked your flights and accommodation through EIBTM, EIBTM will charge a cancellation fee of EUR 400 for your flights and accommodation.
If you do not show up for the programme without prior cancellation or cancel after Thursday 25 November 2010 you will be charged a no-show fee of EUR 500 by EIBTM.
