The ICCA network not only enhances co-operation between members of the same profession, it also enables them to work together with members in the same geographical areas. The Mediterranean Chapter is one the ICCA Chapters formed for this purpose.
The Chapter is composed of ICCA members who are registered in Croatia, Cyprus, Egypt, South-East France, Greece, Israel, Italy, Lebanon, Malta, Monaco, Montenegro, Morocco, Serbia, and Turkey. Currently the Chapter has 144 members from 14 countries located in the Mediterranean region and it is the largest geographical Chapter of ICCA.
Among its members are the most attractive destinations of the international meetings industry and the leading partners such as Convention & Visitors Bureaus, Tourist Boards, Destination Marketing Organizations, Professional Congress Organizers, Convention Centers, Hotels, Venues and A/V companies from these destinations.
The Mediterranean Chapter has an actively working Chapter Committee comprised of representatives from different countries within the Chapter. The Chapter Committee’s main objective is to create a better networking and the business exchange environment among the Chapter members, to increase the awareness of the region’s meeting potential and its members.
With the fulfillment of the major objectives of ICCA Chapters being our main goal and guideline, the Mediterranean Chapter aims to raise the profile of the region as one of the top meeting destinations as well as to promote its members as the right partners to do business with.
