Getting There By plane The best way to get to Vilnius is by plane. Vilnius International Airport is located on a plateau in the south of Vilnius. The airport's in 2007 renovated passenger terminal is equipped with 6 passenger boarding bridges, modern passenger check-in equipment, travel value & duty free shops as well as a Business Lounge and VIP Lounge. Vilnius Airport only 7km/15 min driving distance from the centre of the city. So getting to town is quick and inexpensive. From/to the airport you can get by rail, by bus, by minibus and by taxi. By bus Lithuania has a well developed and effective coach network. It is easy and convenient to travel by coach both inside the country and also abroad.
