Getting There

By plane
The best way to get to Vilnius is by plane. Vilnius International Airport is located on a plateau in the south of Vilnius. The airport's in 2007 renovated passenger terminal is equipped with 6 passenger boarding bridges, modern passenger check-in equipment, travel value & duty free shops as well as a Business Lounge and VIP Lounge. Vilnius Airport only 7km/15 min driving distance from the centre of the city. So getting to town is quick and inexpensive. From/to the airport you can get by rail, by bus, by minibus and by taxi. There is a bus service every 10 - 15 minutes. Minibus service is available every 5-15 min.

By bus
Lithuania has a well developed and effective coach network. It is easy and convenient to travel by coach both inside the country and also abroad. A number of coach operators offer links to almost any country in Europe. For more information and to book tickets please visit the Eurolines website.

By train
There are railway branches to all the neighbouring countries: Latvia, Belarus, Russia, Poland, and Ukraine. It provides a convenient and inexpensive travel from these cpuntries. Please visit the Lithuanian Railways website for more information.
