The AIBTM Hosted Buyer Programme will bring together global VIP Buyers to the show. AIBTM will provide their flights and accommodation to the event and in return the Buyers will carry out one-on-one pre-scheduled appointments with exhibitors.
Starting in 2013, AIBTM, The Americas Meetings & Events Exhibition will rotate annually between the cities of Chicago, Illinois and Orlando, Florida. Choose Chicago will host AIBTM from June 11 - 13, 2013 at McCormick Place, and in 2014 AIBTM will be held at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida from June 10 - 12, 2014. The rotation will continue into 2015 (Chicago) and in 2016 (Orlando) respectively.
Rotating between Chicago and Orlando will offer our global portfolio of customers new business opportunities, new connections and diversity.

of all of our stakeholders.
♦ The rotation between two premier convention destinations will provide a fresher and more
exciting annual meeting for the global meetings community.
♦ AIBTM will attract new exhibitors and new attendees which will further expand the richness
and diversity of the event and build on the momentum of the first two editions in Baltimore.
♦ The rotation will allow AIBTM to showcase more meeting facilities, attractions and hotels.

Going global – answers to North American planners’ toughest questions
A “crowd-panel” of ICCA members from around the world, the most experienced international meetings destinations and suppliers, will lead Round Table discussions between North American planners and international suppliers from other regions. We’ll be covering where to find the most accurate information; how to set up successful partnerships; cultural do’s and don’t’s; how best to communicate your meeting needs and objectives; security and risk management; and any other burning questions and concerns that you have relating to your future international meetings programmes and strategies. Planners: whether you’re an experienced globe-trotter or a newcomer to offshore meetings, you’ll be certain to find great answers to your international questions during this session!
