Hotleader of the Year 2011

To recognize this year’s top ICCA Data Provider, it gives us great pleasure to announce that Ms. Noemí Rosell, Assistant to the Director of the Barcelona Convention Bureau has been chosen as "Hotleader of the Year 2011" and will receive a certificate, together with a sum of €500 to be put against an ICCA product or event of her choice within 24 months of winning the award! This was announced during the closing session of the 50^th ICCA Congress in Leipzig, however as Noemí was not there to accept her award in person, she will receive it at the ICCA stand during this year’s EIBTM.

Noemí has been a constant source of good quality information that exceeds the boundaries of the city of Barcelona. Because of her efforts, the ICCA Database offers improved data for other ICCA members. Thank you Noemí!

We would also like to use this opportunity to invite all ICCA members to consider submitting already their calendar of association meetings 2011. Even if yours is only a partial list as December 2011 is still a few weeks away, your early submission will enable us to start processing your calendars now instead of in Jan 2012. This lead time will allow us to spend more research time on your events which are not already in the ICCA Database.

Please remember that there will be a deadline for calendar submission and if your entries come in too late, we may not be able to process them in time for the Top 20 Country and City rankings. Your input may influence your city/country rankings so please do submit as early as possible and help your destination improve its rankings.
