As there is one candidate standing for the Presidency, no absentee ballot is necessary.
Sector Elections
For the Sector: Destination Marketing as there is only one candidate standing for election the President of ICCA by executive decision has determined that an absentee ballot is not necessary.
For the Sector: Transport as there is only one candidate standing for election the President of ICCA by executive decision has determined that an absentee ballot is not necessary
For the Sector: Meetings Management there are three candidates standing for two vacancies, for members in this Sector there will be an absentee ballot included with this letter.
For the Sector: Venues originally there were three candidates standing for election however one candidate has withdrawn and as there are now two candidates standing for two vacancies the President of ICCA by executive decision has determined that an absentee ballot is not necessary
GEOGRAPHIC REPRESENTATIVES
For the Geographical Representation for the following regions: Africa/Middle East, Asia Pacific and Europe as the candidates do not outnumber the vacancies the President of ICCA by executive decision has determined that absentee ballots are not necessary.
Please note: That Proxies carried by other members from those members not attending the General Assembly cannot be accepted. Therefore if your company will not be attending the 51st General Assembly of ICCA, and your organisation is a member of ICCA in the Sector Meetings Management and wish to exercise your voting right. Your absentee ballot must be received by ICCA Head Office before 7 October 2012.
Also members of the Sector Meetings Management were given the opportunity to vote electronically. This was sent to the members of this Sector on 21 September 2012.
