The ICCA Data department has been monitoring and analysing trends in international association meetings for the past 30 years.
The statistics report of the international meetings market 1999 - 2008 was published in July 2009. The report gives a comprehensive breakdown of global and regional meetings.
This report gives an indication on trends on international association meetings as well as the organisers. It includes figures illustrating the global scene, such as the top convention countries and cities according to number of meetings held, numbers of participants and analysis of the economic value of meetings.
The reports are only available to members in the My ICCA section.
Non-members can download an abstract for non-members of the ICCA Statistics Report. This publication (in PDF) contains only the highlights of the full ICCA Statistics Report (country & city rankings), and provides background information on ICCA, the ICCA Association Database and ICCA Membership benefits. This publication is produced for non-member press, universities, consultants and other potential ICCA members, and students.
Important notes:
Included in the association database are meetings that are organised on a regular basis, attract at least 50 participants and rotate between 3 different countries.
